CTET 2019 Eligibility criteria revised, last date extended till March 14 on ctet.nic.in – official notice

CTET 2019 last date has been extended again - till March 14, 2019. The online applications can now be made on ctet.nic.in on ctet.nic.in. The same has been done as the eligibility has been revised. Check here.





New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released an official notification regarding the revision in the eligibility criteria for CTET 2019. CTET 2019 or Central Teacher Eligibility Test eligibility criteria has been revised in accordance to the orders of the courts. While the matter is under sub-judice, CBSE has notified that it would also be accepting applications from all such candidates who have passed their graduation with B.Ed prior to NCTE principal notification dated August 23, 2010. With the revision in the eligibility, the board has further notified the extension of the last date from present March 12 (today) to March 14. Applications can be made on ctet.nic.in.
In the official notification released by the board, CBSE notes that, “The application from all such candidates who have passed their graduation with B. Ed. prior to NCTE Principal notification dated 23/08/2010 regarding determination of minimum qualification of teachers to be appointed in school shall also be entertained by CBSE subject to final decision of Hon’ble Court(s).” Furthermore, online applications can be made till 23:59 Hrs or midnight on March 14, 2019.
