UPSEE 2019: Last date extended; apply online @upsee.nic.in

NEW DELHI: Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has extended the last date to submit the online application for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE 2019) to March 25, 2019. Earlier, the last date to apply for UPSEE 2019 was March 15, 2019. The interested candidates who have not filled up the form yet, can visit the official website of UPSEE- upsee.nic.in - to submit their application. UPSEE 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on April 21, 2019. The admit card for the same would be released a week before examination i.e., April 15, 2019. UPSEE 2019 result is likely to be declared in May 2019.

CBSE Class 10 pass percentage declines from 92.44 to 68.9, says report

The issue of education has not been raised by around 40 per cent of MLAs between March 2017 to January 2018. In a recent report released by the Praja Foundation, an NGO working in the education sector, it has been found that the pass percentage of Class 10 fell from 92.44 percent in 2016-17 to 68.9 percent in 2017-18 for the government schools after CBSE board examination was reintroduced. It also highlighted that the issue of education has not been raised by around 40 per cent of MLAs between March 2017 to January 2018. As per PTI, "In MCD, 49 councillors did not raise even a single issue on education in 2017-18 and only 11 per cent of total councillors in 2017-18 raised more than 10 issues," the report said.
